Guided gold prospecting on an authentic gold claim
Gold has been prospected in Finnish Lapland for hundreds of years. Our gold claim AuRum is located in Tankavaara right by the road E75. At our claim you can come to learn gold prospecting and even find your own piece of Lapland gold. You will get all the guiding and equipment needed for your gold prospecting experience as well as your own spot on the claim.
In 200 meters of the claim is located Tankavaara Gold Village which provides guests with accomodation and restaurant services!
Keep all the gold you find as well as the gem stones
When you are our guest at the claim you will be able to keep all the gold you find as well as gemstones as a souvenir. At the beginning of your stay we will guide you to your spot and teach you with the gold prospecting tools. At the end of the day you will learn gold panning and find the gold you have been working towards!
Besides gold our soil is rich in gem stones like garnets, hematite and so on. Lucky ones can even find rubys and saphires!

1 day of gold prospecting 180€
Includes guiding, own spot at the claim, equipment and fuel.
The price includes one spot. One spot fits 1-5 persons at a time.
Extra days +60€
Includes guiding, own spot at the claim and equipment. Note! The fuel is not included in the extra days.
We do offer experiences for example groups for a few hours at the claim as well, please contact us for more specified experience.
